Biwater AEWT (BAEWT) has successfully been awarded the contract for the design and supply of the water treatment system for the City of Simi Valley Tapo Canyon WTP.

With a constant need for clean water, this will be an important step in allowing the City of Simi Valley to diversify their water resources.

BAEWT ’s contribution and scope of work included the complete design and supply of the RO System.  The RO train was custom designed for a 2-stage configuration with a minimum recovery rate of 85%.

In addition to the RO unit, BAEWT scope of work also included the pre-treatment equipment, chemical feed system, membrane process feed pumps, and Clean in Place (CIP) System.

Through proper planning, dedication and continuous effort, BAEWT has been able to meet all project milestones and fast track this project from conceptual design to supply of water in little over a years time.

Biwater AEWT, Inc. has supplied a total plant capacity of more than 421 MGD to date.
